My Take on 2011 AL & NL MVP

Lets start with the American League MVP Award going to Adrian Gonzalez of the Boston Red Sox. He will turn 29 this season and is in the prime of his career. With him playing 81 games at fenway park where he can wear out the green monster and also have a short right field wall. His numbers which are already good (.298,31HR,101RBI) in 2010, will see an amazing increase in all categories. His batting Average will be above .300 for the first time in his career with the green monster, where he can bang singles and doubles of the wall. He is also going to see a lot better pitches having protection around him for the first time, thus increasing his HR total. Also his RBI total should be around 140 with Carl Crawford and Dustin Padroia getting on-base in front of him. Last he will be on a winning team that's going to the playoffs and we all know how important that is.

The National League MVP race is going to be very close and hard to choose a clear cut winner. My vote although is going to a 3 time winner of the award Cardinals 1B Albert Pujols. Just think about Pujols average career numbers (.331,40HR,120RBI) and now put him in a contract year. I only have three letters to describe the season we are about to see "WOW". He now has a chip on his shoulder and wants to prove he is by far the best player in baseball. I also think the signing of Lance Berkman, who is going to have a bounce back year if healthy, helps Pujols tremendously in that lineup. Every year we talk about the triple crown and this is the year Pujols might get it. His chances of winning the MVP will be helped also if the Cardinals make the playoffs.

Two Chairs and a Desk Show - Episode 1

The very first (and probably last) episode of "Two Chairs and a Desk Show" from Las Vegas. Show host Andreas talks to CYCLEFILM Producer/Director Markus Neuert (aka Marcus Newbert) about his popular (Psycho-The Film) cycling DVDs The Road to Mt.Ventoux and The Italian Job - not to be confused with the one starring Charlize Theron and Mark Wahlberg! Stay away from the Egg Nog!

Thanks to Zach Galifianakis and his show "Between Two Ferns" for inspiration.
